Odds and ends.

I'm filling sketchbooks a lot more quickly these days. I wouldn't say this means there's more I'm willing to post, but I think I'm loosening up a bit. A little while ago I found out that British designer Laura Mackness is using my doodles of her work for her Twitter background. Pretty neat, huh?

A fantastic road trip and a great weekend. A car named Sukie sukie, clover chains, too much lunch, just enough sunshine, Bon Jovi tribute camp, spider island, pantomimed sandwiches, crazy train station dancing, beach tigers, a '60s photo shoot, and acres and acres of second hand stuff. Not to mention too little time with missed friends and family.

One small trip before school starts. Nowhere beachy, exactly, but I love these pictures of my mom on vacation in Florida.

I passed by Unnameable Books in Prospect Heights a couple weeks ago, and saw this amazing book winking at me from the window. I love the kid's attitude (such a sassy stance, below!), that he lives in a brownstone, that his cats are named Cat and Cat-Cat, and that his relationship to the Big Man is completely undefined.
